Ashleigh Gilluley is a British-born contemporary ceramicist practising in Australia. Handbuilt and instinctual, her process moves from two-dimensional sketches into unmachined forms that reference the ancient bones of grottos, coral, and crystals. Within them, medieval lore and Celtic mythology breathe life into hyper-evolved organisms, non-linear and creational — a highly personal language long departed from its origins.
